During a recent overnight project at the Walmart in Northglenn, our crew was tasked with removing a 6″ concrete slab on grade and pouring new concrete back into the same area. Working at night allowed us to complete the job without disrupting store operations, ensuring a seamless experience for customers and staff.
Our team carefully cut and removed the existing slab, paying special attention to maintaining square corners with no overcutting. This precision is critical in preserving the surrounding concrete and providing a clean, straight edge for the new pour. Once the slab was removed, we prepared the subgrade, set forms, and poured fresh concrete back in place, achieving a smooth, level finish.
