Costco Project – Arvada, CO 

In August 2025, Core & Saw successfully completed a large concrete cutting and demolition project at the Costco Wholesale store in Arvada, Colorado. The project began in March 2025 and included slab cutting and removal, wall sawing, core drilling, and selective demolition.

Scope of Work

• Interior Slab Cutting & Removal 
  We cut and removed a 9″ thick reinforced concrete slab with no overcutting, ensuring clean corners and maintaining the slab’s structural integrity. For this work, our crew used the Core Cut Diamond Products CC3700E electric walk-behind saw. The electric saw produced zero emissions indoors while delivering powerful, precise cuts. 
• Exterior Slab Cutting 
  On the exterior, we used the Husqvarna FS5000D diesel saw to cut through thick pavement and slab sections. This heavy-duty flat saw provided the cutting depth and production speed needed for Costco’s large commercial site. 
• Wall Sawing in CMU Wall 
  Inside the store, we cut a large opening in a CMU wall with a Hilti wall saw. The track-mounted system allowed us to make a clean, accurate cut for the new opening, an essential part of the store’s renovation. 
• Demolition & Concrete Removal 
  After cutting, our team handled safe concrete removal, debris hauling, and selective demolition, leaving the site clean and ready for the next construction phase.
