We’re excited to share details of our recent work at Moffat County Court in Craig, Colorado, where our team delivered comprehensive concrete cutting, demolition, and construction services. 

Project Highlights:

  • Large-scale slab cutting and trenching: Our crew cut and removed over 11,000 square feet of 6-inch-thick concrete slab to create plumbing and electrical trenches. We used a heavy-duty walk-behind flat saw—like the FS 7000 D diesel saw, designed for concrete and asphalt cutting up to 17 ½ inches deep forconstructionpros.com. After trenching, we poured back new concrete slabs to match the surrounding floor. 
  • Ramps and stages: Inside the courthouse, we constructed big concrete ramps and stages in the judges’ chambers, ensuring accessibility and a smooth, finished appearance. This involved precise formwork, concrete placement, and finishing.
  • Window openings in CMU: We cut and removed 40 new window openings through CMU walls using our Hilti DST 10CA wall saw,  hilti.com—an agile electric saw capable of wet or dry cutting with an extended depth range, hilti.com. 
  • Front façade opening: A massive 40 ft × 22 ft opening was cut and removed from the building’s front façade, requiring a combination of wall sawing and wire sawing techniques for precision and safety. 
  • Asphalt removal: In the parking lot, we cut and removed 20,000 square feet of asphalt, again using a high-powered walk-behind flat saw. The FS 7000 D’s high output and maneuverability make it well-suited for mid-size road work and highproduction jobs forconstructionpros.com.
